New International Standards proposed

The following new work item proposals for the ISO Technical Committee Subcommittee 8, Thermography, TC135/SC8 have been circulated for voting:

  • Standard guide for examining electrical installations with infrared thermography (WEE/46_07_0083)
  • Infrared thermography in nondestructive testing ? Characters of equipment and system (WEE/46_07_0084)
  • ? Standard terminology for infrared thermography in nondestructive testing (WEE/46_07_0085)
  • ? Standard guide of non-destructive testing with infrared thermography (WEE/46_07-0086)
These would be extremely useful Standards for many UKTA members. UKTA will contribute to the drafting of these standards. Any members who wish to have a say should contact the ukta committee ukta@ukta.org
