Working Group > Civil Thermography
The UKTA Civil Thermography Section exists to promote and develop infrared thermography for buildings and civil engineering. Membership is open to all who use thermography in this context, or who simply have an interest in the application of infrared imaging in buildings or civil engineering.
One of the main activities is producing guidance documents for civil applications so that members have a consistent approach and surveys can be replicated by others.
The first two documents in this series are available as a drafts for comment.
Building Thermography COP1 a general guide
Building Insulation COP2, assessing continuity of insulation and cold bridges
in 2005 UKTA took part in a meeting at NPL to show how thermography is used to demonstrate compliance with building regulations.
